Batter: Smedes Batter Mix Beer
Batter Ratio: 500gr Smedes Batter Mix | 600ml Water

Preparation method

  • Brown the meat with salt and pepper
  • Cut the potato and some of the carrots into wedges
  • Crush the garlic and add it to the bay leaf and coriander seeds
  • Add the potatoes and some of the carrots
  • Deglaze everything with red wine, demi glace and Guinness and let it simmer gently for 6 to 8 hours
  • Mix the Smedes Batter Mix with water
  • Cut the onion into rings and dip into the batter and fry
  • Cut the remaining carrot into strips, dip them in the Smedes Batter Mix and fry them
